Happy New Year! It's the first month of the new year, 2016. Have any of you made your new year resolutions, yet? Well, today I will be sharing with you why it's important to make new year's resolutions, the method to finding your resolutions and how to achieve them.
So the main perception on new year resolutions are that you make a list of things you should be improving on and pretty much never look at them again. Although, new year resolutions are very important because it is a great and easy way to make the most of the new year.
Therefore, grab a pen and piece of paper right now, and follow along the steps to make or enhance your new year resolutions. Also you want to make sure that you have at least 10 resolutions and not any more as that is the main reason people don't keep up with their resolutions. Start by thinking of 6 regular goals which you want to aim towards and achieve this year. Whether it's to win a medal in an upcoming event, or getting straight A's (improving your grades), or even just cleaning your room once a month.
Then, the next resolution that you want to add is to keep up with a healthy lifestyle. Don't do this for anyone else, only do it because you want to take care of your body. You don't only need to stay fit by exercising (I do recommend that you go to the gym at least once a weak), you can spend 15 minutes a day jogging, doing some yoga, eating a healthier variety of food, drinking more water and even just getting a good night's sleep.
After that make a resolution on reading. Whether you read all the time or haven't touched a book in months. Reading improves vocab, grammar, writing skills and communication skills.
The next resolution you want to add is to get rid of any bad habit. Whether it be cracking your knuckles, sleeping too late, or always having your eyes attached to a screen. Getting rid of a bad habit is definitely one of the ultimate ways to make the most of this year.
The very last and final resolution that you should add to your list is to create a new hobby that you want to pursue and spend time on. It doesn't need to be too complicated. It could be to create a blog, photography, or a sport that you always wanted to try out.
Once you've gotten your list of ten resolutions. Hang that piece of paper up somewhere you can see it everyday. Take a picture of it and have it as the desktop background on your computer and the lock screen on your phone. Make sure that you assess your progress either weekly or monthly to keep track of how you are doing. Keep faith in yourself and don't procrastinate and I assure you that there will be a check-mark next to each and every single one of your new year resolutions by the end of 2016!
